The Dearborn Education Foundation accepts grant applications from Dearborn Public Schools teachers and administrators only. If you are a parent, student, or volunteer within the Dearborn Public Schools district, you will need to work with your local school's teachers and administrators, so that one of them can apply. Although you can apply for funding throughout the year, the foundation only reviews grant applications from September through May. Seeking money to fund your educational future? Financial resources to support a graduating student’s post-secondary education exist here with the Dearborn Education Foundation. Opportunities to win funds towards education are for admittance to either a Junior college or University level. Online applications are accessible here and can be printed after completion.
Scholarship prospects are for graduating students from the Collegiate Academy and all three high schools –including Dearborn High, Edsel Ford and Fordson High. Student applications are available all year long with the final awardees being presented their funds at the annual Green Tie Dinner Celebration held in May.
Each and every dollar donated goes right back into the classroom. Your contribution is directly applied to teacher grant requests. The items they request would go unfunded otherwise. The Foundation is here to supplement classroom needs.
