Apply for a Grant

The Dearborn Education Foundation accepts grant applications from Dearborn Public Schools teachers and administrators only.

If you are a parent, student, or volunteer within the Dearborn Public Schools district, you will need to work with your local school’s teachers and administrators, so that one of them can apply. Although you can apply for funding throughout the year, the Foundation only reviews grant applications from September through May. Applications received in the months of May through August will be held for review until September. 

Our Events

Each year we have four annual fundraising events. Our Mardi Gras event is themed with authentic New Orleans cuisine, raffles, dancing and more. The Gree Tie event is more formal where we recognize our community partners as well as award scholarships to graduating seniors. The golf outing starts off with a very nice breakfast with lunch on the turn as well as games, raffles lunch and awards being given out. Last but not least we also do a Big Shot 50/50 raffle with only 500 tickets being sold for a prize of up to $25,000.00.

Can’t attend an event but want to support the good work that we do? Please reach out as we have a Legacy Giving program, Scholarship opportunities, ways for you to fund a specific project or donate to the general fund.
