This scholarship is to help two students who attended Stout Middle School, to acknowledge their accomplishments in high school, and assist them in their post high school education. Stout Middle School Staff and Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) have contributed to make this scholarship possible for 1 graduating senior from Edsel Ford High School and one graduating senior from Dearborn High School.

Scholarship Amount: A $500 scholarship will be awarded to one Edsel Ford High School senior and one to a Dearborn High School senior.

Application Criteria:

·         Student must have attended Stout Middle School

·         Student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher (transcript needed with the application)

·         Letter of acceptance to a college, university, or trade school (must be submitted with the application showing the student’s name)

·         Two letters of reference (from teachers or counselors ONLY)

·         List of leadership positions (clubs, sports, etc.) which you participated in during high school

·         Essay: Please tell us what your vision is for your future, the career path you are interested in, and why you chose it. (400 word maximum)
