Scholarship Details
HYPE Athletics was established in 2001 with the mission to strengthen the infrastructure of the community. HYPE has dedicated 19 years to the students of the Dearborn Public School District. We continue to strive to provide a better quality of life and education for our youth. This scholarship is valued at $1000 and is designed to honor a Senior Student Athlete from the Dearborn Public High Schools with the Distinguished Award that recognizes the students’ desire to exceed in public service through youth and community development.
Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Application Criteria
-Letter of Acceptance to a College or University
-Minimum 3.5 GPA (Transcript upload required)
-Student must have participated in at least 1 full season of a varsity sport
-Letter of Recommendation from a Teacher or Administrator
-Letter of Recommendation from a Coach of the sport participated
-Essay: 1 page minimum, single spaced-What is one thing you could do today to improve your local community? How would you accomplish that goal?
