Scholarship Details
Metzler Scholarship
The Metzler Scholarship is awarded to seniors who have demonstrated exemplary community service. Three students are nominated by their high school and invited to apply. There will only be one student selected from each of the three high schools as identified by Doris C. Metzler.
Scholarship Amount: $665 each, awarded to one student from each of the 3 high schools
Application Criteria
-500 Word Essay, describing the student’s efforts and their reasoning for giving their time the way that they do in community service
-Letter of Acceptance to a College or University
-Mandatory Attendance at the Green Tie Dinner to accept scholarship and meet benefactor
-Copy of Transcripts
