Robert Cipriano Scholarship

This scholarship was established in honor of a dear friend of our school district – Mr. Robert Cipriano. Athletics was always a vital component in a child’s educational experience and this fund was established to keep that memory alive in the minds of our students. Taking the top student who exemplifies this in their life is a way to encourage health & wellness as a lifestyle. Below are the requirements that will need to be fulfilled in order for a student to be considered for this scholarship.

Scholarship Amount $500.00 will be awarded to a male or female from each high school (Dearborn, Fordson & Edsel Ford).

Application Criteria:

• Student must have participated in at least one full season of Cross Country, Track, Softball or Baseball during any of their four years of high school (varsity status not required)
• Student must have a minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher (transcript needed)
• Letter of acceptance to a college or university
• Student must submit a 500 word essay on how athletics has played a part or helped to make them a better student
• Referral letter from a coach, teacher or administrator of the school they attend.
